A Limon (Colo.) Police officer was killed late Wednesday at a mobile home park in eastern Colorado by a barricaded gunman while serving a warrant with two other officers who became trapped in the home and were later freed by SWAT.

S&W's 327 TRR8 Revolver

Smith & Wesson developed its eight-shot 327 TRR8, after a SWAT officer contacted the company to ask for a beefy revolver for the lead penetrator, who must carry a ballistic shield with one hand. The TRR8 gives operators eight rounds of .357 Mag in a package including a Scandium "N" frame, 5-inch barrel, and blackened cylinder. Rails and moon clips are included. Federal Officers Slam Obama for Statements on Mexico Dangers

After his meeting with Mexico President Calderon on Thursday, President Obama stated, "There are laws in place in Mexico that say our agents should not be armed," and "We do not carry out law enforcement activities inside of Mexico." President Obama also stated that the role of ICE Agents was an "advisory" one.
