Oregon Chief Killed In Confrontation At Car Stereo Shop

Chief Painter, 55, had responded to the shop's call at about 11 a.m. that a man later identified as 21-year-old Daniel Armaugh had entered the bay and was acting suspiciously. Armaugh apparently wrestled the gun from Chief Painter and fatally shot the officer.
