2011 Dodge Charger Pursuit Arrives By End of Year
The 3.6-liter Pentastar engine is expected to offer a sizable boost in horsepower for the six-cylinder police Charger. Chrysler is not giving details at this time, but the same engine is currently available in the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and it generates 290 horsepower.

Since the late 1990s, half of all LEO deaths are due to vehicle accidents. During that time frame, 24 percent of the vehicle deaths (in 353 crashes) involved the officer being ejected from the vehicle, indicating a seat belt was not in use.

S.C. Trooper Driving 100-Plus Before Fatal Accident, Report Says
The investigation revealed Corporal Dana Kevin Cusack was driving a "high rate of speed" at the time of the collision, according to a release from the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office. Cusack didn't have his blue lights on and had not called in a traffic stop to dispatchers.

The jolt of the wake or series or wakes knocked Ridings unconscious and ejected fellow deputy William Schroeder from the 1994 Invader outboard boat. Schroeder, who was piloting the boat, was rescued by other boaters and returned to the boat.
