Officer Aurash Zarkeshan, a Tulsa, OK, police officer shot during a traffic stop in June, returned back to work Monday. Sgt. Craig Johnson was killed in the same shooting.

In a tweet, the Tulsa Police Department said Zarkeshan is working on light duty. He recently came back home to Tulsa after he completed four months at a rehabilitation facility in Colorado, KJRH reports.

David Ware is accused of shooting Zarkeshan and Sgt. Craig Johnson during a traffic stop on June 29 in east Tulsa.

Monday Ware pleaded not guilty to charges of murder in the first-degree, shooting with intent to kill, possession of a firearm after a felony, possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute and obstructing a police officer.
