Man Indicted for Shooting, Wounding Ohio Police Officer

A man accused of shooting a female police officer with the Cleveland Police Department has reportedly been indicted by the Cuyahoga County Grand Jury.

A man accused of shooting a female police officer with the Cleveland Police Department has reportedly been indicted by the Cuyahoga County Grand Jury.

According to WOIO-TV, the man—identified as 42-year-old Darryl Borden—reportedly shot the police officer several times in the arm and back during a domestic violence incident late last week.

The Grand Jury on Thursday indicted on two counts of attempted aggravated murder, three counts of felonious assault, and one count of having weapons under disability.

The officer—whose name has not been released—is expected to fully recover from her wounds.
