Hundreds of angry demonstrators—some of them armed with firearms—stormed Michigan's State House on Thursday to protest stay-at-home orders being enforced by state and municipal police officers across the Wolverine State.

According to the New York Post, the protesters forced their way into the Capitol in Lansing to urge Michigan officials to end the state of emergency declared there.

Several men armed with firearms made their way into the public gallery and began shouting at senators on the floor beneath them.

Police responded but no indications were made of any arrests or detentions during the incident.
