According to the New York Post, the protesters forced their way into the Capitol in Lansing to urge Michigan officials to end the state of emergency declared there.

Several men armed with firearms made their way into the public gallery and began shouting at senators on the floor beneath them.

Police responded but no indications were made of any arrests or detentions during the incident.
