When dispatcher Nicole Santoyo, alongside Officers Brian Kearns and Carlos Gonzalez of the West Covina (CA) Police Department learned that an elderly man had his walker stolen from his front yard, they decided to take matters into their own hands and provide the man with a replacement.
According to NBC News, the department staff showed up at the man's front door with a sign that read, "We're sorry that your walker was stolen."
The department said on Facebook that the man—whose name has not been released—was grateful for the kind gesture.
