Kentucky Officer Injured in Vehicle Pursuit, Suspect Arrested

An officer with the Louisville Metro Police was injured Thursday when a suspect's vehicle struck his patrol car.

According to the Courier Journal, when officers spotted a man suspected of robbery they attempted to stop the man driving his vehicle, he reportedly took off, striking two Middletown Police cars and sparking the pursuit.

During the chase, an LMPD struck a civilian automobile.

The officer driving and two people in the civilian vehicle were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect's car continued into Shelby County and a male suspect was arrested by Kentucky State Police.
