An officer with the Lincoln (NE) Police Department has reportedly been ticketed for aggravated DUI following an investigation into a crash he was involved in while off duty.

According to the Journal Star, Officer Matthew Brodd's blood-alcohol content was .17 percent—more than two times the legal limit to drive—shortly after his Toyota Tacoma hit a light pole in early December.

Brodd was ticketed on Monday with the drunk-driving offense and was also cited for not wearing a seat belt and speed too fast for conditions.
