AceK9 has added a new feature to its Hot-N-Pop Pro and K9 Heat Alarm Pro products called "No K9 Left Behind" to prevent handlers from leaving a K9 in an unattended vehicle. When the vehicle is turned off, the unit stays on and begins reminding the handler to remove the K9. If the handler opens the rear door and gets the K9, the unit powers down. If not, the unit stays on and after 10 minutes provides short reminder horn honks. The unit remains on and monitoring until the K9 is removed. If the vehicle's interior over-heats, the unit goes into full alarm mode with all sounds, lights, etc., activated. These features can be added to older Hot-N-Pop Pro or K9 Heat Alarm Pro units.
