Police Unity Tour Leaves for D.C.

Nearly 1,700 law enforcement officers and supporters left six locations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia on bicycle as part of the Police Unity Tour paying tribute to fallen officers.

Nearly 1,700 law enforcement officers and supporters left six locations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia on bicycle as part of the Police Unity Tour paying tribute to fallen officers.

The officers will ride bicycles several hundred miles from the locations today and Friday and arrive in Washington D.C. on Sunday for National Police Week. Each rider raised more than $1,700 for the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund.

The officers will ride into the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial at approximately 2 p.m. to the cheers of thousands of family, friends, colleagues and supporters.
