One student was killed and four were injured, after a teenage gunman opened fire inside the cafeteria of a northeastern Ohio high school on Monday.

The shooter, who has been identified and 17-year-old T.J. Lane, was taken into custody by the FBI a half mile away from the school, reports USA Today.

Lane allegedly opened fire just before 8 a.m. as students were eating their breakfasts in the cafeteria. Lane apparently targeted a group of students, including Daniel Parmertor, 16, who was killed while ducking under a table.

A teacher reportedly chased Lane out of the school. Lane fled from Chardon High School before police arrived. He reportedly turned himself in to two bystanders.
