Dealing a major blow to a suspected methamphetamine ring allegedly run by the Outlaws motorcycle gang, Pennsylvania authorities arrested 40 people connected with the operation, the Inquirer reports.

The 11-month investigaton known as Operation Icebreaker led to the arrests of key members of the Philadelphia chapter of the Outlaws. Authorities secured wiretapped recordings of members planning to rob and assault members of the rival Pagans motorcycle gang.

The Pennsylvania Attorney General's narcotics bureau led the operation, capturing hundreds of audio recordings of conversations between Outlaw members.
