Law enforcement group meetings to remain separate
The National Association of Fleet Administrators Board of Trustees voted unanimously that the Law Enforcement Group (LEG) should continue to host its own conference through 2004 instead of combining the LEG and FMI conferences. The trustees had been considering the combination to provide an easier exchange of information and to prevent duplication of some of the professional development courses offered.
“We will continue to monitor the Law Enforcement Group committee activities, goals and objectives as we do all of NAFA’s national committees, to ensure they are meeting the special needs of our membership,” said NAFA President Sal Giacchi, CAFM. LEG Chair Dennis Tucker is noted as saying that this is what the majority of conference attendees wanted.
