Kimber has added a trio of .45 ACP pistols to its Tactical Law Enforcement (TLE) line, according to the company.
The Ultra TLE II has a 3-inch bushingless match-grade bull barrel, aluminum frame with 30 lines-per-inch checkering on the front strap, short grip and Meprolight night sights. It weighs 25 ounces and retails for $1,102.
The Stainless Ultra TLE II is similar to the Ultra TLE II, but has a slide machined from stainless steel. The magazine capacity is 7 rounds, and suggested retail price is $1,210.
The Stainless Pro TLE II has a 4-inch bushingless match-grade bull barrel and full size stainless steel frame with 30 lines-per-inch front strap checkering. Meprolight night sights are mounted in machined dovetails. Weight is 35 ounces and suggested retail price is $1,210.
As with other Kimber pistols, TLE models arrive standard with a match-grade chamber and trigger group, beveled magazine well, lowered and flared ejection port and beavertail grip safety.
The bull-barrel design keeps maximum weight forward to reduce recoil and speed up sight recovery between shots. Rounded edges ease comfort for carry.
