Native Green is constructed with fewer parts, has a compact size and has less heat sensitivity, making it ideal for concealed carry, according to the company.

Native Green lasers emit green laser light natively by using a green laser diode, avoiding diode pumped solid-state (DPSS) technology. The DPSS process adds weight and size, and the systems lack efficiency at high and low temperatures, according to LaserMax.

The first LaserMax laser sight models to incorporate native green technology are most full-size and compact Glock models.
