Officer Mark Dallas received a standing ovation Sunday as he led Dixon High School students into their graduation ceremony. A 19-year-old former student brought a gun into the school and shot at a coach during graduation practice, but Dallas was able to take the shooter down as students ran for their lives, police said. City police spokesman Sgt. Jason Cullum said investigators believe Freeman was aiming specifically at police officers and police cars. In the surveillance video, civilian cars pass the suspect, and he does not fire at them. More Here.
