Onondaga County (N.Y.) Sheriff Kevin Walsh has offered naming rights to the agency's Bell 407 helicopter to keep the unit in service.

With Air One at risk of being grounded by budget cuts, Sheriff Walsh began talks with two potential sponsors. The sheriff would put a corporate logo on the helicopter, and hope to raise $100,000 a year, reports the Associated Press.

Sheriff Walsh produced a two-part video feature about the airborne unit. View Part 1 or Part 2 of the presentation.
