Chevrolet today revealed the all-electric 2024 Blazer EV. The new Blazer EV will be available in a pursuit-rated version for law enforcement patrol duty, the Blazer EV PPV.

The Blazer EV PPV will have the largest battery in the Blazer EV lineup and will be available in rear wheel drive or with a dual motor all-wheel drive system. The PPV will use front Brembo brakes to help ensure short stopping distances. “The possibilities for the Blazer EV’s commercial and law enforcement applications are almost endless,” said Ed Peper, vice president of GM Fleet. “Along with zero-tailpipe-emissions performance, it reduces the number and frequency of certain maintenance requirements typically associated with fleet vehicles."

The PPV version of the Blazer EV is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2024, the company says. Reservations are available now.

Blazer EV will be produced at GM’s Ramos Arizpe, Mexico, production facility, which manufactures the current Blazer.
