A new line of handgun ammunition from Winchester¨ Ammunition, Ranger¨ Partition Goldª, features a unique bullet design that increases the effectiveness of handguns carried by law enforcement officers. The bullet provides a high degree of expansion over a wide range of velocities, expanding well in all handguns, regardless of barrel length. Conventional hollow point designs provide only a 200 to 300 fps effective window of bullet expansion, but Partition performs effectively in a much larger window of velocities. The bullet is designed to provide consistent expansion and penetration when shot through common barriers encountered by police, including auto glass.
