American Military University (AMU)

Founded in 1991, American Military University (AMU) was designed to meet the needs of deployed military personnel with fluctuating schedules. It offers two undergrad criminal justice programs and a graduate CJ program. AMU professors are industry insiders from leadership roles in government and state and local law enforcement. AMU has 100,000 students and more than 27,000 alumni. Most students are members of the active duty military, intelligence services, and law enforcement. FAFSA and other types of financial aid are available to AMU students. AMU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association.

Aurora University

With approximately 4,400 degree-seeking students, Aurora University offers a wide range of programs. It offers a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and a Master of Science in criminal justice. Need-based and merit-based scholarships and financial aid packages are available to students. Accredited by the HLC of the North Central Association.

California Coast University

California Coast University's curricula allows students to integrate their professional experiences, previous academic work, and military or company training with academic requirements to create personalized programs. Designed to fit into busy schedules, the accelerated program allows students to graduate in nine months and there are no classroom attendance requirements. Approximately 5,000 students are working toward an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree in criminal justice. CCU offers payment plans and law enforcement can receive a 10 %discount on tuition. Accredited through the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC).

California University of Pennsylvania (CUP)

The Global Online program from CUP is a worldwide learning community that provides academic programs delivered over the Internet. Students can earn a bachelor's degree from the Department of Justice, Law and Society and there is also a criminal justice concentration of the legal studies Master of Science degree. CUP serves more than 8,600 undergraduate and graduate students. Approximately 90 percent of students receive financial aid in the form of loans, grants, scholarships, and work-study jobs. Accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Colorado Technical University (CTU)

CTU's online learning system allows students to control what, where, when, and how they learn. The advisory boards for the criminal justice and homeland security programs provide input for the curriculum. Degree offerings include a Bachelor's of Science in criminal justice with an emphasis in forensic investigation, general, homeland security, emergency management, or human service. Graduate degrees include a master's in criminal justice, general, or homeland security; a master's in homeland security and management; and a Ph.D in homeland security management. Financial aid options include federal and state loans, scholarships and tuition reimbursement. Accredited by HLC of North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. 

Columbia Southern University

Columbia Southern University, established in 1993, strives to improve lives through higher education by enabling students to maximize their potential with online degrees and certificates. The degree programs educate students in the theoretical foundations, knowledge, skills, and practices of criminal justice administration inclusive of law enforcement, courts, and corrections. The university offers an associate's degree in applied science in criminal justice, Bachelor's of Science in criminal justice administration and a Master's of Science in criminal justice administration. Eastern Kentucky University (EKU)

EKU Online offers more than 20 degree options in a variety of fields, including police studies, corrections, juvenile justice, occupational safety, and homeland security. More than 300 online students are enrolled in justice studies. Online students are eligible to apply for federal financial aid, grants, and scholarships. Florida State University

FSU's criminology program is known for its research, coursework, and intellectual community. The undergraduate and graduate online programs offer professionals the flexibility to remain employed while advancing their educations. Online students pay in-state tuition rates and the school offers military benefits, scholarships, and FAFSA. Regionally accredited by the SACS.

Globe University

Globe University students are provided with hands-on career training and practical skills employers are looking for through relevant and innovative classes. Jacksonville State University

JSU offers online criminal justice courses and online degrees in corrections and forensic investigations concentrations. JSU students can earn a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice with a concentration in forensic investigations, law enforcement, or corrections. Students can also earn a Master of Science in criminal justice and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in criminal justice. Johns Hopkins University

The Johns Hopkins University Division of Public Safety Leadership programs are multi-disciplinary undergraduate and graduate programs that explore current leadership issues and prepare public safety professionals for today's expanding roles. Students progress through the degree program together, which allows students to maintain their current employment without interruption and complete their degree programs in just under two-years. A broad range of financial support is available to students. Accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

Lewis University Online

Lewis University profers online master's degree in criminal justice or public safety administration. Courses explore the ethical and social issues that face law enforcement and public safety professionals.
