Patrol or investigations work is tough on equipment. Minolta’s new Dimage RD 3000 2.7 Million Pixel digital camera offers a tough shell to handle the bumps and knocks. The Dimage RD 3000 was designed to provide professionals with a rugged camera that’s durable enough to withstand years of use, yet compact enough to take anywhere. For strength and stability, the Dimage RD 3000 combines a strong internal frame with metal incorporated throughout the camera, including the lens mount. A magnesium alloy outer shell provides durability and shock resistance, while allowing the camera to maintain its light weight.
Minolta conducted extensive research on end-user needs. The 2-inch color LCD monitor, video output, high-speed continuos capture and 1.5 frames per second capability were some of the features users wanted and Minolta delivered.
An interchangeable lens system and the ability to use common Compact Flash media helps to make the RD 3000 versatile.
