The originators of the concept, Tasertron made law enforcement history in the late ‘70s when their first models were deployed by forward-thinking agencies. Those first successes prompted a wholesale leap into the fledgling less-lethal arena by a wide range of manufacturers. Yet, the original is still here, albeit improved over the years with many new features and benefits.
The Taser TE86, TE95 and TE93 round out the product line today. The same rugged construction is evident, as is simple deployment protocol. But effectiveness has been updated and options are lengthy and include charging systems, vehicle mount locks, holsters and training aids.
