Caleb Rogers allegedly robbed the sportsbook at the Rio at gunpoint on Feb. 27, taking nearly $79,000 in cash as he threatened to shoot two employees. He was arrested while trying to escape, police say.

“Our RRT members do not volunteer to have Molotov cocktails, fireworks, explosives, rocks, bottles, urine, feces and other dangerous objects thrown at them,” wrote Daryl Turner, then president of the union. He noted that the team members volunteer for the work without any specialty pay.
The three-count indictment names Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, J. Kueng and Tou Thao. Specifically, Chauvin, Thao and Kueng are charged with violating Floyd’s right to be free from unreasonable seizure and excessive force. All four officers are charged for their failure to provide Floyd with medical care.
DA Chesa Boudin has not disclosed the specific charges that Officer Christopher Flores will face, citing secrecy laws around grand jury proceedings. He is being asked to voluntarily surrender into custody on an arrest warrant.
