CentralSquare, a leader in public sector technology, has announced that multiple customer agencies have received National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) certification from the Criminal Justice Information Services Division agencies in Colorado, Connecticut, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, and Wisconsin.
CentralSquare announced today that it has signed an agreement valued at $74.9 million with the Chicago Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC) for Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Mobile and Analytics software. The company says the agreement is one of the largest deals in public safety software in the past decade.
"Officers are safer if we can get them out of their field software as fast as possible," Seoane adds. He explains that if officers are not looking at their screens, their situational awareness is enhanced. And the public is safer if officers and other public safety professionals can respond more quickly.
CentralSquare announced that it has accelerated the development of an interconnected 911 dispatch system in Georgia, with more than 30 agencies in the Atlanta area already eligible to leverage access to CentralSquare CAD-to-CAD.
