Oklahoma Reserve Deputy Named 2014 NRA Officer of the Year
While Vaughan was moving into action, Nolen allegedly targeted Traci Johnson and cut her across her throat and the left side of her face. Vaughan shot Nolen, ending the attack, authorities say. Nolen is charged with murder and is currently in the Cleveland County Jail.

NRA Increases LE Line of Duty Death Benefit
The National Rifle Association is increasing its Line of Duty Death benefit from $25,000 to $35,000. This benefit is automatically available to any current NRA Member, who is also a public law enforcement officer and is killed in the line of duty.
