Officers will get one-time bonuses of $1,500 in addition to raises of 2.75% this year and raises of 3.5% in 2022 and 2023. The contract is backdated to July 1, when the previous contract expired, and it ends on June 30, 2024.

The Portland Police Association has moved its headquarters after a year of near constant vandalism. PPA headquarters were in the Kenton neighborhood of the city, but the building was a "target of vandalism" for Antifa militants and others during the past year of civil unrest.

Los Angeles Mayor Reaches Tentative Deal with LAPD Union for $245 Million in Overtime Pay
To get the union to postpone two pay raises, Garcetti has offered officers at the LAPD a minimum of $70 million in overtime pay in each of the next three budget years. On top of that, officers would be permitted in the final year of the contract to cash out as much as $35 million in overtime pay for hours they’ve already worked, but have not been compensated.

"Perhaps Council Speaker Johnson should ask NYers if they want more or less police on the streets & in the subways – especially since the tragic murders on the A Line," Detectives’ Endowment Association tweeted Saturday.
