A 73-year-old Oklahoma reserve deputy who accidentally shot and killed a man during an undercover gun sting on April 2 was charged today with second-degree manslaughter, according to a press release from the Tulsa County District Attorney's Office.

The Tulsa County (Okla.) Sheriff's Officer has released a video of an incident in which a 73-year-old reserve deputy shot and killed a suspect April 2 during an undercover operation. The reserve deputy has told investigators he believed he was holding a Taser, not a gun, when the shooting occurred.

Oklahoma Reserve Deputy Named 2014 NRA Officer of the Year
While Vaughan was moving into action, Nolen allegedly targeted Traci Johnson and cut her across her throat and the left side of her face. Vaughan shot Nolen, ending the attack, authorities say. Nolen is charged with murder and is currently in the Cleveland County Jail.
