MN Supreme Court Will Not Review Judge's Order Requiring Minneapolis to Hire 100 More Officers
The Minnesota Supreme Court on Tuesday denied a request from the city of Minneapolis for an emergency review of a judge's order requiring at least 730 police officers be on the force by next summer in order to comply with the city charter's requirement.

Judge Orders Minneapolis to Hire More Police
While the city is expected to have about 669 officers by next June, Hennepin County District Judge Jamie L. Anderson said the city needs to have at least 730 by June 30, 2022, or .2% of the population after the 2020 Census is published, the station reported.
