Detroit Police Precinct Attack
The Detroit PD released a clip of narrated surveillance video from the Northwestern District station shooting. The clip shows a gunman striding into the station, and spraying volleys from a shotgun at surprised officers before being fatally wounded within inches of three of his victims. Four Detroit Officers Shot In Precinct Assault
Commander Brian Davis, Sgt. Ray Saati, Officer David Anderson and a female sergeant were struck by rounds from the gunman's pistol-grip shotgun. All are expected to recover.

Calif. Gang Officers Targeted by Booby Trap
"It was an improvised device capable of firing a regular bullet, and it was attached in such a way so that when the gate was opened, it activated and fired. Fortunately it narrowly missed," said Hemet Police Lt. Duane Wisehart. "The gun was affixed to a fence and hard to see. It could have definitely killed someone. This is domestic terrorism."
