Albuquerque Officer Recovering from Saturday Traffic Stop Shooting

APD says Officer Lou Golson pulled an SUV over during a routine traffic stop around 2:30 a.m. As he approached the vehicle the suspect started shooting, striking the officer twice. Officer Golson was able to return fire, but the suspect fled the scene and has yet to be apprehended. More Here.
