Texas Officer Shot Saturday Faces Long Road to Recovery
Chief Michael Berezin said Officer Crystal Sepulveda was shot in the face, left calf and left toe. The bullet that hit her in the face shattered her cheek and exited through her ear. She recently underwent reconstructive surgery.

TX Committee Report on Uvalde Mass Shooting Finds “Egregious Poor Decision Making”
The Investigating Committee on the Robb Elementary Shooting provided its Interim Report 2022 to the Texas House of Representatives and reports the school district police department failed to implement and follow its own active shooter plan. The report states the committee found “systemic failures and egregious poor decision making.”

ALERRT Finds 3 Missed Opportunities That Could Have Stopped Uvalde School Shooter
The report says the UPD officer “was armed with a rifle and sighted in to shoot the attacker; however, he asked his supervisor for permission to shoot. The UPD officer did not hear a response and turned to get confirmation from his supervisor. When he turned back to address the suspect, the suspect had already entered the west hall exterior door.”
