Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) recently released a Law Enforcement Leadership Summit Report, which includes six recommendations for lowering the number of alcohol-related traffic deaths.
The recommendations include sobriety checkpoints, more training and resources for law enforcement, enhanced criminal justice system efficiency, and making prevention of drunk driving a key priority for law enforcement leaders.
MADD decided on the recommendations based on a conference that involved discussions with law enforcement about how to curb drinking and driving.
