A motor officer with the Los Angeles Police Department was thrown from his motorcycle in a collision with an SUV and the entire event was captured on dramatic video.

A motor officer with the Los Angeles Police Department was thrown from his motorcycle in a collision with an SUV and the entire event was captured on dramatic video.

According to ABC News, bystanders rushed to aid the officer, who was transported to a nearby hospital where he underwent treatment for undisclosed injuries.

The driver of the SUV was also taken to a hospital for evaluation.

The collision occurred on Friday of last week, but the video was released this week.
