The U.S. Marshals Service announced today the capture Tuesday of convicted cop killer and child molester Paul Clouston in Merced, Calif., following a viewer tip to the "America's Most Wanted" television program. A native of Pennsylvania, Clouston, 73, was added to the U.S. Marshals list of 15 most wanted fugitives Nov. 30, 2006.

U.S. Marshals Arrest Fugitive, End N.C. Crime Spree

U.S. Marshals brought down an alleged one-man crime wave recently when they arrested Gary Hendricks. A fugitive from justice since 2008, Hendricks allegedly embarked on a crime spree in North Carolina spanning at least five counties including Johnston, Cumberland, Bladen, Columbus and Davidson. U.S. Marshals arrested him today in New York.

N.C. Police Find Gator, Caiman at Hotel

Authorities trying to serve an arrest warrant at a motel instead found some sharp-toothed guests. U.S. marshals and High Point police found a 3-foot alligator and a 3-foot caiman — similar to an alligator — in a fish tank at a Red Roof Inn in Greensboro. They didn't, however, find the suspect they had sought.

Murder Suspect Gives Himself Up On Television

In Macon County, N.C., deputies and U.S. Marshals took Christopher David Lunz into custody Tuesday afternoon, with an Asheville television-news crew pointing a camera at the action. The 38-year-old Lunz was wanted in Pinellas County, Fla., as a suspect in the death of his father, 59-year-old David James Lunz of Palm Harbor Fla.
