Charlotte-Mecklenburg PD to Hire 125 Officers

Charlotte City Council members voted Monday night for City Manager Curt Walton's plan to hire 125 additional police officers. Fifty will be hired with $8.5 million in federal stimulus dollars, and will start in September.
