New Orleans Cop-Turned-Minister Stands Out in Effort to Halt Murders

After dark on the last Sunday of 2008, the Rev. John Raphael, the cop-turned-pastor, changed clothes after the evening service at his New Hope Baptist Church and walked a few blocks to the South Claiborne Avenue neutral ground.
