Once the moving company and emptied the apartment deputies searched the apartment for any remaining items and found $23.87 in U.S. currency, a silver dollar over 100 years old, several foreign coins, and commemorative coins. This money was logged and placed into the Johnson County (Kansas) Sheriff’s property room but never claimed. Until now.
