ATF Introduces Firearms App

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has introduced a pair of mobile apps for Android and Windows 7 that provide information about firearms types and nomenclature. In addition to the new apps, the ATF also updated its app available for Apple iPhone.

Gun Dealers Sue ATF to Halt Reporting of Multiple Rifle Sales

The National Shooting Sports Foundation has filed a lawsuit challenging the legal authority of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) under the Gun Control Act to compel 8,500 federally licensed firearms retailers in Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas to report the sale of two or more rifles.
