Based on the AN/PVS-14 that is currently fielded by the U.S. military, the MV/PVS-14 available from Morovision Night Vision provides situational awareness and operational capabilities when operating in low-light/no-light environments. For shooters who choose to use weapon-mounted night vision, the MV/PVS-14 is designed to withstand the recoil of a .308 round by using L-3's unfilmed, MIL-SPEC (OMNI VIII) tube. Because it is the latest generation tube from L-3, the system maintains extremely high specs and has also been shown to have a life of 20,000 to 30,000 hours. The MV/PVS-14 is also made to be quiet with no audible "whine," making it ideal for tactical teams.
