The ID 1000¨ 10-Print Live Scan System from Cross Match Technologies, Inc. replaces traditional ink-on-paper fingerprinting methods by connecting directly to a PC. The ID 1000 consistently produces distinct, high-quality prints that may be used by fingerprint examiners and/or Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems (FIS) for ten-print searching and matching. The ID 1000 meets existing FBI and IAFIS requirements for live scan (non-latent) imaging.

The data acquisition capabilities of the ID 1000 allows for real-time fingerprint capture of individuals at time of enrollment, arrest, booking or release. The ID 1000 is capable of being fully portable (with an optional custom-fitted, impact-resistant carrying case).
