Michigan Deputy Uses Pickup Truck to Rescue People Trapped on Second Floor of Burning Building

When an apartment building in Scottville, Michigan, caught on fire Monday night around 9:50 p.m., Mason County Sheriff’s deputies were the first emergency personnel to respond.

The deputies arrived and found that people were trapped on the second floor of the building, Mason County SO said in a Facebook release. The smoke from the blaze had chased out to their balconies and they could not escape.
