Officers from the Horry County (South Carolina) Police Department managed to capture an escaped kangaroo and return the marsupial to its owner.

The incident happened Saturday March 22, the Horry County PD reports on Facebook.

The owner posted on Facebook a video that talked about how the kangaroo got loose. It was a goat who unlatched the gate, allowing the kangaroo to hop away, the Myrtle Beach Sun News reports.

Local law reportedly permits the possession of such animals as pets.
