Body camera footage released this week by the Pasadena (California) Police Department shows officers rescuing the residents of an Altadena nursing home during the first hours of the Eaton Fire.
The Pasadena Police Department released the footage Thursday, which shows officers and firefighters evacuating the Two Palms Care Center, ABC 7 reports.
Officers on duty the night of January 7 said saving people at the senior center was a herculean task, but thanks to coordination and manpower, everyone there survived.
Pasadena Police Chief Gene Harris said some of his officers showed up for work that night, even if they weren't scheduled, saying they felt the need to help.
