The Oct. 20 incident began around 8 a.m. when two officers responded to a call about a man with a “large knife” trespassing at a Dollar Tree store.
Inside the store, officers confronted the man and ordered him to comply. He went into the back storeroom of the business and climbed up on some boxes, the video shows. The officers tried to take him into custody after drawing their TASERs.
The man managed to get away from the officers and ran back into the store, the video shows. One officer grabbed him, but she lost her grip and fell into a store display, police say.
