Driver Doing Donuts Crashes Head-On into Pursuing Nashville Officer

The suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Carlos Esquivel. He faces four charges, including aggravated assault on a police officer, felony evading arrest, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.

A man fleeing a traffic stop crashed head-on into a Metro Nashville Police vehicle early Tuesday morning after doing “donuts” during the pursuit on I-24.

Officer Joe Medina was injured in the crash. He was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released, Fox 17 reports.
