The Bluffton (South Carolina) Police Department has released dashcam footage of one of its officers and a Beaufort County deputy sheriff responding to a single car accident and pulling a man from a burning car.

Staff Sgt. Brian Kaase of the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and Officer Azahel Young of the Bluffton Police Department were honored last week for their life-saving actions during the Sept. 22 incident.
Dashcam video shows the two law enforcement officers removing the man from the vehicle seconds before the entire car was engulfed in flames.
Police say the vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree, the Island Packet reports.
