The Hillsborough County (Florida) Sheriff’s Office has released video of deputies working to rescue a teenage girl from her flooded vehicle Thursday.
The stranded motorist reportedly tried to drive through floodwaters caused by Hurricane Helene when her vehicle died and she became trapped in the rising water.
Deputies were able to rescue her using a sheriff’s office pickup truck.
The sheriff's office says they received more than 2,450 calls between 2 p.m. on Thursday and 5:45 a.m. on Friday, Fox 13 reports.
