A Fullshear, Texas, police officer used his bare hands Friday to remove an juvenile alligator from a residential doorstep.

Body camera video shows Lt. Bill Henry reach down and grab the hissing, snapping reptile by the throat and tail and carry it away.

It was the second alligator removal that Henry was involved in that day.

“We have a message for Lieutenant Bill Henry after watching his body cam video: ‘You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy,’” Fulshear PD said on Facebook.

The gators were relocated to more suitable habitat.
