Boulder Police, Firefighters Rescue Toddler from Crashed Vehicle Hanging on Wall

Officer Castro and Officer Ray and personnel from Boulder Fire-Rescue were able to get the driver and the child out safely out of the vehicle.

Boulder, Colorado, Police responded to a crash scene Tuesday evening and found a vehicle “precariously” hanging on a retaining wall. They also learned that a 4-year-old child was in the back seat, according to police.

Officer Castro and Officer Ray and personnel from Boulder Fire-Rescue were able to get the driver and the child out safely out of the vehicle.

Boulder PD reports on Facebook that the driver was charged with careless driving, reckless endangerment, and child abuse. Officers are also investigating the possibility that the driver had a medical event, police said.
